Professor Higgins, a phonetics expert (most famously brought to life by Rex Harrison in the Oscar winning film) bets his friend, Colonel Pickering, that he can pass off a common flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, as a Dutchess at the Embassy Ball just by teaching her to speak “properly”. Featuring such well known numbers as: Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, On The Street Where You Live, Get Me To The Church On Time and I Could Have Danced All Night.
